Re: GS Troop 41683 - meetings set!

Hi everyone!!!

Reminder to all that THIS SATURDAY is the first meeting!

Please bring along the information you typically put on a medical release form - if you want to print out the start-of-year forms in advance, they're attached to this email.

We need at least one parent to stay at this meeting, and we also need parents to consider officially joining the scouts as adult members. 

• The council requires that we have two official leaders (which we have - myself and Cathy Picklo)
• We need to have enough registered and background-checked adults present to meet the required adult:child ratio at all events.
• for our current official troop size, two is enough, but we are expecting a few more scouts to join
• Cathy and I will not always be able to both attend every single thing - I'd hate to have to cancel an event for this reason!
• The troop will pay admission for the adults who are there to fulfill the ratio requirements, but not others.
• if the cost of the additional registration is a deterrent, we have resources.

Also - if you have any ideas or connections to fun/educational/interesting events or organizations around town, bring information with you. The girls will be voting on what sorts of activities they'd like to do.

Finally - I will be going to the girl scout shop on Friday during my lunch break. If anyone needs your girl's uniform or anything else, let me know and I'll pick it up for you.
