Believe in Girls Expo (the B.I.G. Event) |

Be involved! Be excited! Be amazing! And believe in the power of a girl-led troop year!
Come to the B.I.G. Event expo, bring the whole family and engage in all the places you can go and all the things you can do! Things like build with Legos, pet a baby bunny, get zen with yoga, change a car tire, create amazing art, make slime, shoot archery, dance, meet a princess and so much more!
New this year will be Disney on Ice fun, aerial silks with Birds Eye View Circus, bubble soccer with Total Sports, boxing with Believe Center, balloon chairs with The Ohio State University, inflatable planetarium from Ritter Planetarium, model trains from Swanton Area Railroad & Model Club, Jeeps from Girls Throttle Magazine, harnessing and knots with Expedition Africa Aerial Adventure at Toledo Zoo. Of course The Imagination Station, Toledo Walleye and Toledo Mudhens, Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo Repertoire Theatre, Challenger Learning Center, Metorparks Toledo and more will all have hands-on activities, too!
Choose your adventure and plan your Girl Scout year to be nothing short of spectacular! So don't miss out on the fun! More than 100 booths with hands-on activities and workshops! Learn the basics of archery from a trained instructor, including safety rules, proper handling of equipment, and shooting techniques! Have fun as you practice and evaluate your skills. Cadettes will work on parts of the Archery badge. |

Climbing Wall |

Stretch and reach for each handhold and feel a sense of accomplishment as you sequence through a route on the climbing wall! Wearing a helmet and harness, push yourself to reach new heights and tackle special challenges thrown in for a twist. Learn spotting techniques, and see how far across the wall you can go! Experiences may vary from camp to camp depending on the facility. Outdoor walls - weather permitting. |

First Aid Badge Workshop |

Bring your whole troop or come on your own to earn the First Aid badge! Practice various first aid scenarios and make your very own first aide kit. Sessions are divided up by grade level for age-appropriate learning Brownies and Juniors participate in one session while Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors participate in another. Cost includes badge and first aid kit. |

You don't have to be a technology guru to be a part of this Tech Club! Join dedicated female professionals from Tata Consultancy Services for this unique introductory STEM series just for Girl Scouts. Find what makes you "spark" as you explore sweet careers in specialized fields that you never even knew existed! Step up to the challenge as you innovate your own web page and learn the "how-to" on writing code. Make unforgettable memories pushing the bounds of curiosity and creativity with your Girl Scout sisters on Sunday afternoons. Design your own Tech Club T-shirt and get a unique fun patch to sport. Tech Club is a six week consecutive Sunday series that runs from October 7 through November 11. |

Unite with your Girl Scout sisters to pay homage to the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Low, through classic Girl Scout traditions! Learn the history behind Juliette's passion for service-learning and discover the impact that you can make when you strive to serve your community. Explore the difference between Community Service & "Take-Action" by engaging with top-notch Highest Awards Alums from GSWO. Connect with philanthropic Community Partners to embrace the Girl Scout Promise and learn how to help people at all times. This program will culminate with a large-scale service project. If time and weather, there will be a hike. Please plan to bring a sack lunch. Price includes fun patch and snack. |

What does a "perfect" world look like? What issues would need to be resolved to make this world perfect? Together we will dive into the issues for girls in our world and decide what we can do about it all while completing the Discover and Connect portions of the It's your World, Change it; GirlTopia; and Your Voice Your World Journeys! The completion of the journey can be used towards the prerequisite of the Girl Scout Gold Award. |

aMaze Journey Retreat |

Get a jump on the Cadette aMaze Journey and spend the weekend navigating the twists and turns of friendship, discovering how to create peace together, and earning the "Peacemaker" and "Interact" awards! Kappa Delta sisters & community partners will help run Journey programming throughout the weekend. Girls will complete most of the Journey with the exception of implementing their Take-Action Project. Attending adults will participate in their own concurrent programming on mentoring Cadettes. Pre-and post-work is required to complete the "Diplomat" Award. Cost includes the Journey book for Girl Scouts & registered adults, award set, Saturday meals, and breakfast Sunday morning. |
